It’s back again! Enrollment is open for Provo’s Community Emergency Response Team Program! We invite you to join us and experience this class for yourself. The CERT program is an amazing opportunity for residents to learn about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area. You will be trained in basic disaster response skills such as – fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations.

The spring session of the CERT Training will run from 6:30 – 9:30 pm every Wednesday, January 31 - March 28 (except February 14th) and a Mock Disaster will take place on Saturday, March 24. A material fee of $35.00 is charged to cover expenses. All other expenses are covered by the city.
You will be taught how to prepare your homes and families for an emergency. Safety at home will allow the CERT team members the added ability to help their neighbors. Once neighborhoods are safe, CERT team members may be called on by City emergency workers to aid in disaster recovery elsewhere in the City.
