Another ranking for Provo! 👏👏👏 According to Curbed, Provo is one of the top 10 cities in the U.S. to move to right now. Provo is a rising tech center, part of Utah’s Silicon Slopes scene that’s the envy of smaller cities across the country.
We've seen a 20 percent job growth, especially in the tech sector, and we have a booming, well-educated millennial population. That’s a boon for creatives like designers and video editors, who will find themselves in high demand at new startups. For tech-savvy workers, Provo offers great talent, job opportunities aplenty, and housing costs for a fraction of what you’d find in Silicon Valley.

Dear Mayor,
Like you, I am a Provo native. It saddens me to see retail businesses leaving Provo right and left! I discovered last week, that the one and only fabric and sewing supply store, The Cotton Shop, has permanently closed it's doors! I now need to go to JoAnn's in either Orem or Spanish Fork. Provo Towne Center Mall is half empty. I'm glad to see Ross Dress for Less and Home in East Bay, but I fear for their longevity. Provo isn't the greatest place to move to for shopping. Please help revive the retail market in Provo.
Thank you for all you do!
