Test Utah Challenge

I have an important update on testing! TestUtah is a new initiative sponsored through Silicon Slopes and in partnership with our state leaders and private corporations to double Utah's COVID-19 testing capacity and gather data from each Utah citizen to help health officials better combat the virus. Leaders across many industries have come together virtually overnight to create a solution that will help crush the curve and save many lives.

As part of this effort, the #TestUtahChallenge calls on every Utahn to complete an online assessment at TestUtah.com. All Utahns are encouraged to take the assessment regardless of symptoms. The data will be aggregated by the state to allow public health officials to better track the spread of COVID-19 throughout the state. Increased testing and tracing of the virus will allow a more effective and targeted response, helping reduce transmission and infections.

So how do you get tested? I'm excited to announce that drive-through locations are available now in Provo and Orem, and new testing locations are being added to accommodate 3000+ tests per day. Get started with these three simple steps:

  1. Take the assessment at testutah.com. Answer a few questions to determine your current risk and provide the Utah State Health Department and government leaders insight into our collective health. You’ll also receive accurate, evidence-based information on COVID-19.

  2. Get tested. We can’t test everyone, but we’ll prioritize testing for those who currently have symptoms, have interacted with someone who has already tested positive, or have recently visited places where COVID-19 is more widespread. We’ll confirm a time slot for your test and direct you to a drive-through testing location.

3. If you’ve tested positive, we’ll ask you to answer some questions to help isolate the infection rate; for example, who you might have been in contact with and where you have traveled recently.

For more information and to take the assessment and schedule a test, visit TestUtah.com.
